Im new.

Hey everyone, just bought a new 07 Cobalt SS s/c. Its black with red and black interior. Im also going to put the stage 2 on it probably tomorrow or thursday. The car is still at my work (the dealership) so I havent even got to take it home yet to get some pics. Its going to be my new daily driver replacing my 98 Grand Prix gt so a bit of a step-up. Im new the compact car stuff but ive been into LS1's for the last 5 years. I have a 2002 Z28 I drag race and take to car shows so it sets in the garage alot. Ive been lurking this forum for about a month so I know a little already. Anyways just wanted to introduce myself. Here are some pics of my camaro if any of you are f-body guys.

What lowering kits do they have for these? Also write ups for the painted headlights? I think I have a good idea on how to do them since I do Camaro headlights all the time.

Wait till your Boost Breaks in Before you Put in the Stage 2! The Motor Needs Break in 1st, Clutch also!

Nice Car!

Welcome to the site and sick ass Camaro! As for lowering springs, you can get the Eibach Sportlines, Eibach Prokit, H&R Springs, SSC Springs, and CA Springs. I'm sure that there are more.

With the old cam 447rwhp/400rwtq. I changed to a newer version cam so no results yet. Those are cam only #'s as in stock heads.

There are lowering springs available from Eibach but the thing is, there isn't really any struts available...Koni is supposed to be releasing something very soon though.

At least they have lowering springs out. I had a Trailblazer SS a few months ago and I had to cut a set of springs to lower it because nothing was out for them.

Ive a seen a few cars come into the shop to get kits installed. Couple of them had cobaltss.net stickers on them. I work at Cable Dahmer for those who I might be talking about.

Actually it is still "being" done, but we are hoping to roll it out at the end of March, all 750whp.

Welcome! Beautiful car, keep up the great work. If I owned a ride like that...it would be sitting in the garage a lot too. Can't wait to see your balt!

If youre only boosting 10psi, keep driving it until you hit 12.5psi. Mine "broke in" at 1350mi. It is different for everybody for some strange reason though. If youre already boosting 12.5 then youre good to go.
