does anyone know any good questions that i should ask the dealer about the car befor i actually buy it if i do? and does anyone know the MPG on a le5? i've tried looking buy cant find it.

I get 27mpg mixed on my 2.2l auto

why waste money on an auto-tragic model then? and 24 grand is too much. you could haggle that down another 10 grand.
If you want to do some comparative shopping, I’d suggest just browsing through gmcertified.com. This would show you any Certified Pre-Owned vehicles in your area (including Cobalts) and give you a ballpark idea on what a certified (inspected with extended Bumper to Bumper) Cobalt goes for.
I also saw that you asked about fuel economy – the 2.4L automatic is estimated to get 24/32.
