Imporved Fuel Mileage

It's been a week since I performed the airbox mod and put in a Spectre Cone Filter. Fuel mileage improved to 29.2 at an average speed of 52 mph. Granted I did drive about 700 miles this week. Not bad for an SS/SC.

i hear you.. i am at 28.8 mpg .. but i am babying it and in trafic. i try to keep it right at -10psi boost or under because when you get on it and get max boost you can see the gas needle go down.

I run about 80 mph and bang out 100+ at least 4 times during my trip each day. Can't help myself.

I'm getting about 27MPG on my daily city slog.

On a sad note... watch it with these new Spectre filters. Mine popped a P0171 on me yesterday. I cleared it this afternoon (pulled the neg battery cable). I've gotta drive it some tomorrow to see if it comes back.

No CEL yet but I do plan on getting the AEM filter eventually since it is the right size for the intake.

Yeah, I think I get 2-3 mpg under WOT, not good. But I get ~28 mpg average

These are all good mpg figures. I wouldn't have fared as well if I had bought a GTO like I wanted.

I don't know what I am doing but a hammer 80-85mph up and down the GSP for a total of 170 miles round trip a day and I am averaging a solid 31.2mpg totally stock on 93 octane pump juice... I have dipped to 30.5 when caught in heavy traffic but once free I start climbing right back to 31...

if you guys keep it at about 2.2k rpm thats the sweet spot. However Please be carefull you will cause the clutch to start to overheat or something. I just had a problem with this were my clutch was slipping bad etc. took it to the dealer and found its because i have been shifting early etc

Agreed. After ST2 install, I went from 10.6L per 100km to 10.2L.........
It makes me feel better if nothing else.

my weekly mpg average is usually around 29-32mpg depending on how i drive that week. its a 82 mile a day round trip that is a combo of city and highway.

on a side note, i run 93 octane and some times after i fill up it runs better than it did the time before or it runs worse, so i bought a bottle of lucas octane booster. and we are talking night and day difference in performance. so for 3 bucks a gallon they sell some seriously shitty gas here....

So you are running an '07 with just a stage 2 kit and a stage 3 pulley... You have not changed the intake or exhaust and you still manage 29-32mpg? I might have to reconsider the stage 2...

I have a half and half sort of drive (city and highway i mean) and I hit 35.6mpg today. One of the reasons this puppy is staying stock.

Mine went up by 3mpg when I started only filling the tank up half way (weight conservation).
