Injector question

If I run a stock pulley on the M62 can I use the 42lb injectors and just have them retuned or would I need the stock LSJ injectors?

If your gonna do that id just get the car tuned instead. These cars are WAY over fueled at wot...notice the black cloud of smoke out of the tailpipe. It comes from the factory like that. If it were me and i didnt want to put a pulley on it, id just get it tuned for a better A/F ratio at wot.

Yeah I'm going to get it retuned since my tune is for a stage 2 pulley.

Yes. Any time you change injectors you will for sure need a tune.

Well I wouldn't be changing either. The only thing that would be changing would be the pulley size.

right, but that changes the a/f ratio....smaller pulley means more air and if you dont get it tuned so the computer sees that it won't be as efficient or powerful.

Because it's cheaper to leave stock one on. So what if I try to drive my car with the stock pulley but am tuned for a smaller one?

if your really trying to cut corners and not buy a 50 dollar hub/pulley for the pcm your going to install. dont install the pcm. plus there is a 65% chance your going to need a cps relearn. its a hit or miss wit that one. at least buy a 3.1 pulley. zzp will have it to ya in 3 days

if your not trying to spend 50 bucks for a hub n pulley your dammmmmn sure not paying the dealer 40-70 bucks for a relearn or paying somebody with HP Tuners to do your case relearn.

The car will run rich, your not having as much airflow but you will cmd the same amount of fuel.
