Insurance

Right now I own a 2.2 base cobalt. Its fun, but not what I want to drive . By the end of the year I will most likely be upgrading to the SS S/C with stage 2. I did some quotes on progressive ( Im on the parents insurance right now, when I get my new car ill be paying for everything ). It came to around 210 a month from progressive with the "Recommended" tab. Is this normal for you guys or lower? I am 21, will be about 22 when I get the ss, and Ive never been in an accident or had any ticket. And I did www.kbb.com with my car. Base cobalt, steelies, cd player and rf speakers. Decently clean with 20k miles they said fair 7500, good 8300 trade in, does that sound normal? I tried doing a little research just trying to piece everything together, I can't wait to get a black ss , first thing im doing is tinting, then taking off the big wing!!

You dont have to take off the big wing. You can special order it with the smaller one, but a lot of them already come from the factory wit the small one. I ordered my car and it took 3 weeks instead of 6-8

Dont get a sunroof cuz theres been a lotta problems wit it and it aint worth the $$$, but if u want any options ul probably have to order it since most of them have the sunroof. Get LSD (G85 package) if your gonna be modding cuz that $800 is worth it. Im gettin tints first thing too. I dont even get my car till monday and iv had my fujita intake for two weeks. Get it right after the tints for the whine

sunroofs are fine man... ull more than likely have that one incident where it wasnt adjusted right from the factory and it will leak one time take it for a simple warranty claim and it will be as good as new.... By the way the ss with no sunroof just looks retarded with the light where the sunroof is.... all the way with a ss/sc with a sunroof

My insurance sucks. 215/month but let's just say it's my fault it's THAT high lol. Oh yeah that 215 is auto and life insurance combined.

Right around $110 a month but I'm fast approaching the wonderful insurance age of 25.
