Alright, so this morning I hit a raccoon on the highway causing a minimum of $4300 in damages to my car. It ripped off the front lip, bent and broke off the IC, radiator and fans. I'm not sure what else yet as the dealership only did a quick estimate.

...So obviously I'm going to be going through insurance, but I'm wondering if I should be going and swapping my catless downpipe out before getting an insurance claim guy to come out.

Will they use stuff like that as an excuse to not pay up? I don't care about headlights etc, just worried about the DP since it's not street legal.
