Intake Bypass Valves.

Any input? Never heard of them until my cousin pointed them out to me. Is anyone currently using them? Pros? Cons? Pictures?

-Virtually eliminates chance of intake system ingesting water if filter becomes submerged
-Installs along upper portion of any intake systems with minor modifications

That's what I told him, but he said these work better, I just wanted everyone's input. Never even heard of these until this morning.

"submerged" aka ... driving through a lake.

i just avoid deep puddles when it rains, but i've read that you basically have to completely submerge your filter in water for it to take in water. unless maybe you like hitting 24psi while running through deep puddles...

IMO buying a cai for a turbo car is kinda pointless. just buy a SRI. sounds better and you have no chance of hydrolock unless you go in a lake.

Dunno why u would need a cabin mounted one, but the turbo cummins diesel engine in our dodge ram comes with a filter gauge on the air box stock.
