I know it's 0% up to 36 months. I can't remember 4 and 5 year, but they are the same %.
If you go to the autoshow and fill out a GMAC application or do a survey you can save 1% on financing.
I did and got this letter...
...

Congratulations! You are pre-approved by GMAC to purchase or lease any new GM vehicle with an MSRP up to $ 25 000.

With your GMAC pre-approval, you'll be in the driver's seat when you go to the dealership to pick out your new GM vehicle. You won't have to wait for your credit to be approved - it's already guaranteed by GMAC!

And don't forget, because you submitted your GMAC Express Credit Application at this year's Canadian International Auto Show, you are eligible to select one of the following four exclusive offers* when you purchase or lease your new GM vehicle:

- 1000 OnStar personal calling minutes
- 3000 Air Miles
- $500 in GM Accessories
- 1% off the rate of your GMAC finance or lease contract

Your GMAC pre-approval expires on May 27, 2005, so visit your GM Dealer or Saturn Retailer soon and test drive some of the exciting new vehicles in the GM family.

Yours truly,

T. E. Dickerson, President
General Motors Acceptance Corporation of Canada, Limited

P.S. Make sure you take this letter with you when you visit your GM Dealer or Saturn Retailer. It identifies you as a preferred Canadian International Auto Show customer who is eligible for one of the exciting four offers mentioned above.

P.P.S. Please feel free to contact us at GMAC.salonautoshow@gm.com if you have any questions regarding your GMAC pre-approval.

*Offers expire May 27, 2005. Customers must be age of majority in their province of residence and purchase or lease a new eligible 2005 General Motors or Saturn Saab vehicle before expiry date.

All products subject to availability. Offers may replace certain current GM/Saturn/Saab offers, which may not be able to be combined with these offers. Please note: Not all customers will be able to choose from all offers, depending on individual circumstances such as air miles membership, availability of OnStar on chosen vehicle, etc.

Customer may select one of the following incentive offers upon leasing or financing through GMAC a new eligible 2005 GM or Saturn Saab vehicle:

1) A $500 Credit valid towards the purchase or lease of new eligible approved GM automotive accessories dealer installed at the time of purchase/lease. The credit amount is inclusive of any applicable taxes. Any unused portion of this credit is not refundable and expires upon use of the offer. No products may be selected for installation on any GM or Saturn Saab vehicle that do not meet GM approved specifications for that vehicle.

OR
2) A 1% reduction on GMAC interest rates offered during the period of validity. Not compatible with any 0% financing offer from General Motors of Canada. Eligible customers will receive up to a 1% APR reduction off the GMAC vehicle rate in effect at time of delivery. Minimum purchase finance rate of 0% required on all retail deliveries. Minimum lease rate required of 0.5% on all SMARTLEASE deliveries. (Please note: some customers may not receive a full 1% APR reduction due to the already low vehicle rate in effect at time of delivery. E.g. #1. A 0.9% purchase finance rate would only be reduced to 0%. E.g. #2. A 1% lease rate would only be reduced to 0.5%). New GM or Saturn Saab vehicle must be financed or leased with GMAC. Offer applies to qualified retail customers only.

OR
3) 3,000 Air Miles will be credited to named Canadian Air Miles cardholder of individual on list. If a customer does not have an Air Miles account, the customer must first call Air Miles @ 1.888.AIR.MILES (1-888-247-6453) or visit www.airmiles.ca to set-up an account. The account will be activated immediately, and the customer will instantly receive a collector number for dealer/retailer to use for processing . The 3,000 Air Miles will be posted to the customer's account within the standard 60-day period established by Air Miles.

OR
4) 1,000 OnStar Personal Calling Minutes (valid for 12 months). Receipt of the OnStar Personal Calling minutes prepaid card may take up to 30 days from sale/lease.OnStar Personal Calling enabled vehicle, existing OnStar contract and prepaid calling minutes required.OnStar voice recognition system may not recognize all voices.Available in most markets. Multiple entries on the List for the same individual will be void. Some exclusions may apply. No offer may be redeemed for cash. See Dealer/Retailer for additional program conditions and details. Void where prohibited by law. GM may modify or terminate the program and the offers at any time without notice.

All the Current Rebates are posted on the GM website and Chevrolet's US and Canadian websites as well. Depending on where you live, there are plenty of other incentive programs, like right now anyone who buys a Cobalts gets another $500 off with the Auto Show Bonus.

Be careful with those take off 1% finance offers - most business managers at the dealerships BUMP the rate, because they can (you'll never know the real one) and then deduct 1%, but he's still making out, and so are you, it's all designed to make the sale.

GMAC made over 4 billion dollars 1 2004, so for what it's worth, always try to negotiate a better rate on the Purchase or Smartbuy. What do you have to lose?

Depending on how much you finance or put down, 0% for 36 months can get you a pretty high payment, but you all should look at the SmartBuy 24,30,36 and 48 months. Incidently, you high miles drivers!! GMAC SmartBuys can go up to 30,000 miles a YEAR, so if you rack up the miles, consider a high mileage SmartBuy - you really will mitigate your risk of devaluation which has been hitting us hard on the domestic side. The last think you want to be doing is have a payment thats over your head!
