Interesting Info from GM Canada

http://gmcanada.com/english/vehicles...coba_opti.html

There are a few interesting facts that they list....

In the SS S/C they list a temp guage.

The recommended fuel for both cars is 87 octane.

The transmission list for the SS S/C is the F355 with 4.05 final gear ratio.

Curb weight (lb / kg):
Base sedan: 2868 / 1301
LS sedan: 2895 / 1313
LT sedan: 2989 / 1356
Base coupe: 2808 / 1274
LS coupe: 2824 / 1281

SS Supercharged: 2806 / 1273

The site was updated very recently and is quite complete now... so I'm wondering whether or not the info is believable yet. 2806 would be pretty sweet. Weird that it is lighter then any other coupe, as it has bigger body kit, wheels and wing, an S/C and more options. Maybe they lightened other parts of the car.

Thumbs up 500 credit on model ls

model ls (both coupe and sedan) will get a 500$ prefered group unit credit that base model will not have....
and also the 1000$ sport appearance package option is very interesting and at a good price considering what it offe: a single spoiler plus fog lamp only will cost nearly 600$ ... for 400$ more you get with the package 16" machine face aluminium mag instead of the 15",better tires, plus leather wrapped steering and shifter, plus audio control in steering, plus chrome tail pipe and white faced gauge...
a very good added value !!

That is weird. Chevy.com has it listed at "estimated" 2991/1356.7 (lbs./kg). That is a huge difference
