ok... im finally going to paint my chipped up trim pieces.. Before i get started I wanted to know if there is a trick to getting them out? Does anyone know if they clip in or what?

 

you have to remove the glove box and the drivers side kick panel then they just pop out. take your time b/c they are in there really tight but they will come out

 

what about the pieces on the door?

 

the window switches have a screw in side the grab handel part then they just pop out as well

I use a small pry bar and get it behind the panels and pull

 

Have fun with the door ones.. i busted both the clips off mying.. and still had to pry the dang things off.. and busted all the clips on all the other ones... pretty much destroyed everything.. luckily i work at where they carbon fiber them ..

Be patient though. I think they make a tool to make the clip removing easier.
