Knock in steering
Knock in steering
Back when I first got my car a few months ago I have a slight knock in my steering when I was making slow turns like in parking lots. I took the car to the dealer and they said they replaced a fuse, and I thought to myself that there is no way that a fuse caused that, but I went with it.
It did fix the problem for a little bit, but now the knock is back, and it is in the front passenger side of the car. I am going to take the car to the dealer, but I have lowered my car since the last time I had it in there for this problem.
I assume the dealer is going to blame the problem on the car being lowered.
Has anyone experienced this before?

I don't know if this would be considered the "knock" your describing, but I get a similar issue. Driving slow in a parking lot and turning i get this low sounding slight bang sound as i'm turning the wheel. Would this be the same issue? Just wanna make sure 100%
Sounds identical to my issue.

I had a weird knock in my front end when I went slow over bumps awhile backa and they replaced the steering shaft. Well it didnt go away, I lowered the car a few months later and guess what??? Sound gone. Now my steering shaft is poping when I turn the wheel or wiggle it........grrrrrrrrr I want my old steering shaft back my bumper to bumper has been gone for a few months now. DAMNIT!!!!!!
