Knock in steering

Back when I first got my car a few months ago I have a slight knock in my steering when I was making slow turns like in parking lots. I took the car to the dealer and they said they replaced a fuse, and I thought to myself that there is no way that a fuse caused that, but I went with it.

It did fix the problem for a little bit, but now the knock is back, and it is in the front passenger side of the car. I am going to take the car to the dealer, but I have lowered my car since the last time I had it in there for this problem.

I assume the dealer is going to blame the problem on the car being lowered.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Im sure they would claim it was caused by the springs.

They shouldn't cause it is a common problem with cobalts. I had mine replaced at 20,000.

They won't care about the suspension change. The steering knock issue is a known TSB. Take it in.

Well my car has been in the shop for the past two days and sure enough it is the Intermediate Shaft.

So I just got a call from the dealership and went round and round with them about getting the shaft replaced. They stated that they couldnt fix it because of my aftermarket springs on the car. After a bunch of arguing and going back and forth about it, they are going to replace the shaft, but they told me that this will be my last suspension/steering repair under warranty ......

I don't know if this would be considered the "knock" your describing, but I get a similar issue. Driving slow in a parking lot and turning i get this low sounding slight bang sound as i'm turning the wheel. Would this be the same issue? Just wanna make sure 100%

It will be covered under warrenty unless your dealership decides to be gay about it.
