ipod

The last time I looked into this, i dont think it was available. Does anyone know if there is an adaptor for the ipod for the 06 ss/sc yet? or if there ever will be? also anyone know if the 07 cd players would wire into the 06? if they will, im going to go to the dealer and have them replace my stereo beings it eats cd and ruins them.

I've been doing some reserach on this. There is a adapter for the 05-06 on eBay which seems to be only partially functional. Not sure if the install was done correctly or not on those cars but it seems ALL the options don't work right all the time. That adapter is about 160.

There is also a company called Smart Park. They make an adapter called iConnect that if you can find it from a distributor, they cost 220. From what I've read if installed correctly this thing works beautifully. I haven't decided yet if the money is worth it for either one since our radio plays mp3 cd's as is.

As for the 07 radios, they work but it's a bit of work. Check out the electronic section, someone has done it.

you should just get an aftermarket head unit, they sound a lot better compared to the stock one. I have a pioneer unit with the ipod adapter. I lost the controls in my steering wheel but i can use my ipod and the sound is amazing.
