I went to a car audio shop locally and bought an FM Modulator that wires between the antenna and the stereo. I then made a y-cable from the 2 RCA jacks on that unit and ran them to a panel mount3.5mm jack in my console. Vern clean looking...appears factory. Works good for what I paid (under $75 with adapters and wire). Ill try to add pics later

I did this with my '06 as well...worked great. I was too lazy to make a mount though, so I just ran the 3.5mm cable to my glove box and hid the ipod in there. There's a how-to on the above that was extremely helpful.

If you're willing to pay a little more, you have this -

Still just an FM modulator like above, s you don't have complete control, but it does charge the Ipod and you get the song data on your radio. Still need to use Ipod to change songs.

I drilled a hole in the console next to the lighter plug and mounted the 3.5 jack in the hole. I use a 3.5 to 3.5 cable to connect to my iPod just like you would in any new car. I use a universal lighter plug to usb charger and connect my ipod cable to that to charge
