It's Here

I am on the way to pick up my SS. That was the best phone call I've had since I first met my wife. Too bad it's going to rain for the next 4 days. Well it will give me time to break it in. Happy days are here
Sorry if this makes some of you sad. I hope you get yours real soon.

I can't be jealous though, I FINALLY GOT MY VIN# YESTERDAY, AND SHE'LL BE ON HER WAY TO ME WITHIN A COUPLE OF DAYS!!!WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

After reading up on it, I'll be taking the break in period VERY SERIOUSLY! DAMN, I hope I can make the drive down to Indianapolis this July. PLans are in the works right now.

AGAIN, congratulations, man. CAN'T WAIT to see some pics.

Wow

I am tickled pink. I just wish I didn't have to get back to work. This car is so cool. It shifts\handles\accelerates beautifully. That thing some people were whining about the hand brake is barely noticable and the wing is not very obtrusive at all.
When I get home to night I'll take pics including the lit up dash lights which looked sweet in the underground.
I am jacked about having the first on in this part of the world. Now back to work to pay for the mods that I didn't tell the wife about.
ps I won't crash I made that mistake in '86 and broke my neck

Your right the hand brake is fine (I whined about it at first). The wing however is obtrusive and the blind spots are bad too. Whether you care about the wing and blind spots is another issue. I find the wing actaully helps block out head lights a bit. The blind spots are pretty bad and you have to really crane your neck to be 100% sure there isn't someone there. DC has horrrible traffic and worse drivers so people hand out in your blind spot all the time.

After having driven in the dark I do find that your right and any speedy manouvering needs to be after really checking for others first. The lights being blocked by the wing is definitely a plus. Unfortunatelythe wing also blocks me from watching thoses people behind me gawking at this relatively uknown commodity.
I had a wrx want to race but it's raining and the SS needs breaking in. I will be spending time on the highway the next few nights having fun breaking my awesome car. I love the sound as I give it some extra gas.

I'll have them up with in a couple of hours. I need to pick up my teenaged daughter from work first....she has no idea I got the car. Then straight home to pull out the camera.

Popups? I've never seen one from imageshack.
