Thumbs down J-Body Performance Cust Service Stinks!

I ordered some stuff from them on 4/20/06, they sent info that they shipped it 4/22 well, never got the stuff, supposed to be here 4/28, called emailed etc, got simple responses was told to wait, wait, etc, finally after a MONTH they say it must be lost, NO ****!~
Then they file crap with Canada post, told me would take a week, this was around 5/20, well weeks later they still havent reshipped, say they are waiting for canada post, just keep waiting and waiting, I freaking talked to Canada post on the 21st may and they said shouldnt take more than a few days to trace, well suffice to say still nothing, just get the waiting for canada post crap! BEWARE if you order from these guys they could give 2 ***** if I ever get my stuff and we are not talking a $5 order either!
That and their shopping cart system SUCKS!

I am so sick of waiting I needed to share!

CRAP!=J BODY PERFORMANCE!

What a rinky dink operation!

Your beef should be with Canada Post/US Customs. Put yourself in J-Body's shoes. You ship out an expensive order and the customer doesn't get it. Of course before you eat the cost of sending out another shipment you would follow up with the shipping service.

You Americans are lucky that most of the time you can order things from within the states. Us Canadians get jerked around ALL THE TIME by f'n customs. I'm still waiting for my Aeroforce Interceptor shipped like 2 weeks ago. I just know customs is fingering it right now. They probably have it sitting on a toilet seat attached to a clear tube to make sure it doesn't crap out some drugs or illigal cigarettes. I won't see it until they add 6% duty + 15% sales tax + a brokerage fee.

Sorry to go off on a tangent there, long story short, Yes J-Body Peformance could act a little more concerned and provide you with the customer service you deserve, but really this isn't their fault and you and they should go after Canada Post.

My business has had a few instinces where the parts being shipped have been held in customs . And I will tell you , if it did get held up .....its not JBP's fault and it really can take a long long time before they are released . Its why when I sell on ebay , I dread selling to Canada . 99% of the stuff Ive personally shipped there has made it just fine . I had one package get held up in customs for 2 months , and the person that bought it was treating me like I ripped them off .......there was nothing I could do about it .

Ive never dealt with JBP and have no opinion of their customer service , but they very could be right . They wouldnt know if it got held up in customs .

I got my C.A.B.'s from them and it went well...but I am on the same side of the border though.

I just got my Ingalls from TTR awhile ago and Canada customs had ripped open the box to peek inside..I guess the strut looked too much like a stick of TNT or something while X-Raying it. Didn't hold up any time though. Got it PDQ.

ya know I had my interceptors shipped from a Canadian company, NO PROBLEMS!
He shipped it took 5 days got here fine that was fedex grnd.

I dont care about canada post, I paid enough for shipping to get my parts in a timely manner and 2 months is not timely, not to mention their la dee da attitude toward the whole thing. No reason they couldnt use fedex ground.

Either way if it is canada post, lost in space or the little green aliens needed upgrades to their cobalts on mars, this is ridiculous!

Sometime they need to take a hit and say ya know what this guys is waiting 2 mos, we need to get him his stuff!

Heck, If I filed a dispute with my cc they would have credited me already!

Just a quick hint.....we don't drive j-bodies. Ehem. I would never order parts for my Cobalt or Ion from a place called J-body Performance. Just a suggestion.

Ordered my intake and Stage 2, from the States with no problems. Even the USPS tracking to Canada Post numbers were very accurate.

Delta platform included the 2005 Cobalt, and subsequently the Delta moniker was dropped.....

The Cobalt and ION are both A-bodies

Hmmmm
True the RWD A-bodies of the 60s and 70's are now true classics
The rest wernt so lucky...
Malibu WAS (since the 80's) a W body but is actually is now actually a Z-body.
El Camino from 1978-1987 was of course a G-body and died there
Oldsmobile Cutlass and Pontiac Grand Prix 1978-1987 were also a GB but since 1988 have been W-bodies
The Skylark WAS an X-body 1980-85 until 1986 when it became an N-body
The only A-body in the FWD era on your list is the Century

PS> I'm old too!

well, another useless email back stating they are waiting and waiting and waiting.....for canada post....

Actually had the nerve to tell me to contact Canada post with questions..WTF should I do that I paid JBP for the products not Canada post, its JBP that is responsible for getting my order fufilled...

Definitely beware if you order from this clown operation!

And it takes days to get an email back from them not to mention! From their website "Email is our fastest and preferred method of communication. We respond to emails within minutes. 24hrs a day." uh huh, uya ok!

ya right, I get all kinds of excuses, like my favorite from one of their emails "Please note that Friday and Monday was a statutory holiday in Canada. This is why no one was answering email's during this time."

and this one is my absolute FAVORITE!
"We ship FASTER world-wide
via FedEx & Xpress Post.
Air: 2 Days CDN, 3 Days US
Ground: 5 Days CDN, 7-10 Days US
Next day air available on in-stock items.
Shipment speed depends on in-stock availability of items."

hmmm, NOT!

Blame VictoryRedSS...they're too busy working on his engine build-up to bother with mere parts orders...

I've dealt with them a lot too, never had any problems, except for waiting on some of his suppliers in the states.
calling them scandals is harsh and unjust.
hey I'll give you a great example I ordered Green stuff break pads from TTR in April and was told that I should have them by May 10th, 2 1/2 weeks ago I was finally told they were just shipped and should be at my door within the week. didn't happen, a few days ago I asked for an update and was told that the break were not sent at all and are being held up for a design change.
but you don't see me going around saying TTR's service is ****, that's because I know it's not there fault, and it's outta there hands, maybe you can try a little understanding as well. shipping across the border sometime goes without issues but when a package gets held up it takes forever especially packages entering the US
