found a local cobalt owner long story short asked what he had done he had muffler delete gms1 and cai...needless to say i dont know where he came up with the hp numbers of 300+...anyone have a clue? i know im opening up a can of worms with this but just curious on peoples outlooks on this

i personally think he just took what the numbers say the parts make for the car which we all know is bs

 

gms1 isn't going to make 300 whp. period.

and if he has the stock downpipe he'll have trouble getting there with a good tune too.

I don't think that it's difficult. Just be possible. If I remember correctly it doesn't remove the learn down feature. Just raises it to a certain level. Could be wrong tho.

 

I believe gms1 disables learn down however the bolt ons don't get their full potential of power without another tune
