just curious

but at my work all we have is penzoil 5w 20 full synthetic, I get free oil changes so I was going to do it today and did beucase it was pennzoil 5w20, just curious as too how big of a difference it will make becase I can get a 60 dollar oil change for free, soo....lol

what willl happen?

I have an 07 ss/sc by the way

you should be fine.. moblie paid to have their name put on our oil caps.. thats the only reason you "should" use it.. whatever... you'll be good..

imnot really worried about brand just weight its 5w20 not 5w30

having a lower number on the second part of the oil rating will give you poorer performance at higher temperatures.....the lower the number on the first number is better for lower temperatures.....5w30 is a good all around oil for us canadians where as some people use 0w30 in the northern part of the country.....oils like 20w50 are used for racing applications where higher temps are reached......hope this helps.
