Just Curious

Like the title says. I'll probably never see this person on the road, and it's probably owned by an older guy that wouldn't race it anyway but there is a Dodge SRT-10 pick-up truck in the parking lot out at my work (Ft. Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA).

I was wondering if someone has ever raced one or seen one in action. I'm just curious how that Viper engine does in that truck. How would the 'balt do against one?

The magazine racer stats say 500 hp and 0-60 in 5, not too bad for a stock truck.

We have a few navy guys that have one. I dont race but at a stoplight we both kinda did [in a to the speed limit kinda way] and i won easily. Mind you it was only to the speed limit which was 40. lol. So i have no clue if they do better than us past that. They are nice trucks tho

yeah, it looks bad ass, and with 500 horses i can't imagine being too terribly slow, even if they are heavier than a Viper.

Those trucks with a competant driver are in the 13.5 @ 106 mph 1/4 mile range where as a Cobalt SS/SC is in the lower 14.5 @ 98 mph range........the thing is, most guys just fry the tires off on the line.
