Just got my build date...
Finally the dealer called me back and let me know my Cobalt should begin production on Jan. 1 or Jan. 2. I ordered it on November 14th, exactly a month ago. Now they say I probably won't get it until about the middle of February. Three freaking months... that's ridiculous. One of the reasons I didn't want a GTO is how long I'd have to wait to get it... but... this doesn't seem too damn much quicker.
Argh. At least it'll arrive with most of Winter over with. Better get those new tires for the Buick.

I ordered mine on Nov. 5th, hoping that I would get it late December/Early January. I work for a Chevy Dealership and one of our salesmen that's in charge of our ordering had just received my confirmation on Friday that my Cobalt order was finally received. Cobalts are on backorder right now, and I forget how many he said were currently being built but it's like a ridiculous amount. We're supposed to be getting my build date sometime this week hopefully. But I didn't even know this until I had talked to the salesmen on Friday, but dealers can't even order Cobalt SS S/C's for stock for their lots right now. They can only order them if they are sold units. I'm still waiting for my build date. Even though I'm anxious to get it, I'm also glad it's taking a lil while - not looking forward to having to drive it in this nasty weather.
