How many characters can you have on a plate there

 

thats what I was thinking. but CA must be more.

 

I think the maximum has been bumped up to 8 now even if you go with one with a custom graphic. I'm thinkin' this will be it though there's almost no way of fitting 9 on the plates. All new standard plates are now 7 characters...4 letters followed by 3 numbers

and yes 8 is the max. if you have a graphic you can only get 6

um.. thats 8... u have a 7 characters and a space which counts.

 

yah we can get pictures, ex Leafs or Raptors logo, etc.

Country yea.. but every state ive been in is 8. and im pretty sure its standard throughout. whatever
