Just pre-ordered 07 SS/SC
Hey guys,
My second post yay
Anyway I have learned so much just browsing .net since I joined. Thanks to everone for helping to make this site so interesting and informative.
After I read the thread about the build date (June 19th) for the 07 Cobalts I ran down to my local dealer (don't know if posting dealers is ok so delete if necessary) Rothrock Chevrolet in Springfield PA and put in a requsition order. This will be the first 07 Cobalt that they order sometime in mid-May.
Here is the rundown.
2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/SC with G85 package
Metallic Sunburst Orange with the replacement polished aluminum wheels
Fully optioned
Stage 1 + 2 installed when I take delivery of the car.
I already ordered bushings and Stage 2+ clutch. I have also started saving for a full (header to tailpipe) custom exhaust and and AEM intake.
I am so excited I can barely wait for the end of July/beginning of August when I expect my new Cobalt to arrive!!!!

GSX97AWD....I get supplier discount through my job so that's roughly $1,000.00 under MSRP.
R33P3R007...Yeah I know that they suck but I don't really have to haggle with them because of my discount and they are giving me a decent deal on the trade.
Sneaky... no, I dont have a build number or anything like that but I am guaranteed that my car will be the first one ordered by the dealer when they start placing orders for their 07 models....which I was told would be the 2nd to 3rd week of May. I do anticipate recieving my car in Late July to Early August. I used to sell Saturn's and that is exactly when we always recieved the first new car's for the model year. Of course we hid them in the back till late August so that we could clear the lot of the old models.

From my understanding the only change is On-star. If the sunburst orange is discontinued for 07 I have not heard anything about that. My second choice would be black in that case.
