Is the K04 on the ss the same as the one on the newer 2.0 audi's?

 

Actually both 2 liter engines are the same. GM and Audi have an alliance which allows this to take place.

I'm pretty sure turbo S4 and Audi TT were using K04 turbos. I think they were slightly different but still labeled as K04s. I'm not sure if the newer 2.0s are using them... My buddy says its the K03 tho...

 

No the 1.8's used a k03, the 2.0 uses a k04. I only ask cause we got one sitting here at my shop. I'm sure the oriantation of everything is different and would more then likely not bolt up but anything is possible right. Lol

 

Nah they came stock with K03. K04 turbos put you into stage III territory
