eBay. Just make sure the number on the back of the new fob matches your old old.

And you will probably have to go to the dealer or a locksmith to get it programmed

By those symptoms it just sounds like the graphite coating on the inside of the rubber button pad has worn off on your lock button. All you need is a new pad. You could get this:
Amazon.com: New PAD + 5 Buttons for Gm Remote KEY Keyless Car Case No Chips Inside Amazon.com: New PAD + 5 Buttons for Gm Remote KEY Keyless Car Case No Chips Inside

Or this if you don't have a remote start button:
Amazon.com: GM 15252034 Keyless Entry Remote Replacement Case and Pad (no electronics included) and Free World Wide Remotes Guide: Electronics Amazon.com: GM 15252034 Keyless Entry Remote Replacement Case and Pad (no electronics included) and Free World Wide Remotes Guide: Electronics

You can always just use a hole puncher to cut a few circles out of a piece of cooking foil and fixate it inside the button on the inside to act as a conductor. Problem solved. No need to buy expensive new remote if the fix is easy. Went through it with my factory fob before I went with aftermarket alarm with remote start, which replaced my fobs with fancy LCD/LED screen ones. Worked well for me.

not if you leave electronics alone and just replace the pad.

really? There's nothing wrong with doing it cheaper than the arm and a leg that the dealer will charge you... You probably have them change your oil too, eh? And wiper blades?

One of my fobs stopped working during the winter to in lock my doors. Everything else was fine. So I did like suggested above and I out tin foil under the buttons. And it works perfect. Its been over 7 months and it still works perfect. I bet ghats all you need to do too. No need to buy a new one.

Both my fobs stopped working. Tried the tricks to make em work again with no success. Ordered fobs off ebay. Proper part# and the whole bit. Brought to a dealership and it wouldn't sync at all. Tried a stock GM fob, boom no problem. Just a little FYI.

I guess it all depends on the fob but yeah after awhile I thought about buying the pad or whatever that is instead of the complete fob
