launching question

Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to correctly and efficently launch. I was told to keep the RPMs at 3000 then dump it but all that does for my LS coupe is make me spin followed by a drop in RPMs. On the other hand if I gun it with the RPMs high I spin even longer and have to start playing ketchup. Any input would be appreciated

do not drop to clutch...... your either going to spin the bog down rpm wise or just flat out light the tires up. You need to learn to let the clutch out gradually learn where it will grap hard. Then pick different RPMS and try to launch like that. It will kill your clutch quicker then daily driving but so will dropping it

for a fast start i like to get the car to a steady 2000 RPM's then i let off the clutch to just before where it would grab and make you accelerate. as soon as its time to go the second you move the clutch out a little its gona start grabbing, so i just throw some more throttle in after that

i gota admit though...the clutch in the SS is a lot harder to get used to then any car ive driven...its really grabby...now i love it
