Hey guys question. I have read on here that guys who have replaced their entire 3rd brake light with a LED 3rd brake light strip have had issues with their cruise control.

Rather than replacing my entire 3rd brake light I was looking at just replacing the 3 OEM halogen bulbs with 3 LED replacement bulbs only.

Would I be at risk of messing up my CC by doing this ?

 

I did the swap with strip and haven't had problems with CC

 

I make these LED converted 3rd brake lights and I have never had to install any resistor for anyone. I have been running one myself for about 5 years now and my CC works flawlessly

 

I was about to mention you I really want that new 3rd brake light you made. Look for colodude on Facebook he makes some really nice products!

 

Yep same here. CC still worked after my 3rd brake light LED installation.
