Lemon
Lemon
I have a LS and I have brought my car in three times prior to me goin in tomorrow and I was just wondering if anyone has had a lemon or knows what I should do when I go about this. My issue has been my trans third gear grinds and pops out and I have had it fixed three other times already.
They'll replaced your full transmission before letting you claim lemon.
1)new tranny
2)try lemon
3)cant get either go to a lawyer
Amazing mine was still running strong before it met a bridge.

I was gonna do a heartwrenching little new post talkin bout how much I enjoy my cheapass LS I just got this past January, BUT....
.... how can I resist such an invite?
Well... where can I begin? Ummmmm .... ok, first off, manual trannies are "fun" - but R generally troublesome. Even real sporters like Corvette are known to have weird **** that occurs even with seasoned drivers and good heel-toe. So, manuals are kind of lemons waiting to happen. So, if you're not into the "use and repair" cycle of some motorheads, I'd sugg an auto - or if we were talking Vettes - the auto/paddleshift which is what the real bigboys of Europe have basically gone to.
So, that said........ I like my LS 2.2 automatic. I like to have fun too, but I can wind around with the pedal down and it shifts pretty much where I would shift if it were manual and at the end of the day , nothin was ground or rubbed or worn. But, then again I'm a 52yr old nut job who would ideally like to have a Vette, a real good lottery hit, and not just have to dream about a new ZR1. I did however get two custom printed graphics of the new supercharged ZR1 fender emblems and stuck 'em on my LS fenders. Keep 'em wondering at traffic lights, ya know?
