Let's talk coolant temps! (LSJ)
Update:
According to the service manual "These engines use a 82C (180F) thermostat."
To check to see if it's working,
"Run the cold engine at idle for 15-20 minutes before checking the engine temperature"
Outside air tempature must be (55 - 100 F)
After the 15 - 20 minutes Engine tempature should be 185 - 205.
Last night comming hoome from work (Aprox 7 miles) I noticed my engine coolant only got up to 105F. Outside temp was 21F. Occasionly I would see the temp go DOWN. So I think I have a bad thermostat, but I'll have to wait till this weekend when it warms up to check it. (55 - 100F)

Well Well,
my Thermostat is "Good" though I'm skeptical.
After operating at idle with the temp 70F outside for 15 - 20 minutes my coolant was 188F.
I still think something may be wrong though, but oh well.
