Lingenfelter Cobalt SS supercharged?

Jackalope gave a awesome thread aka link: http://www.lingenfelter.com/Lingenfe...06ZO6TTBGB.htm

How sweet would it be for them to come out with kits for the Cobalt SS/SC. They have some awesome kits for GTO, SSR, and some other cars from GM. Who would love to have a Lingenfelter SS/SC cobalt?

They do build GTO's but I doubt they'd do a Cobalt.

Lingenfelter works on GM small block V8's, I doubt they'd have much interest in working on the Cobalt.

Edit: After doing a search, all they offer are Corsa exhausts.

Lingenfelter has extensive expirience with the Ecotec engine . I dont know why they dont capitalize on it . Im not talking bolt ons either . When Jon died , he qualified #1 in the NHRA sport compact class 6.99@197 in his ecotec powered Cavalier . They have lots of R&D in the ol ecotec .

"We've got All Wheel Drive man, We'll rip you outta the whole!"

I'd love a Lingenfelter Cobalt. I was just thinking about this the other day.

And I believe this is the link you were trying to post:

http://www.lingenfelter.com/Lingenfe...06ZO6TTBGB.htm

If for some reason this link doesn't work... just take out the "..." then finish the name Lingenfelter... and the 2nd part is 2006z06TTBGB.htm

That would be pretty cool for them to build a Cobalt, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

They are very very well known for their power potential, reliability and they have been building GM vehicles for quite some time. Yes, some of that is cost for the name. lol

lingenfelter would never touch a cobalt IMHO the kit would cost more than the car , a vette lingenfelter package runs 30,000 and that was for the C5's

Actually paying for it though would require refinacing the house . Hell , back in 94 and 95 and 383 LT1 package for the Z28 was $13K

Their supervettes are awesome machines and they 100% stand by them....a very stock like 1000 plus hp that u can easily drive anywhere is phenomenol , but the run off the mill stuff is ridiculously expensive .

You can't go by cost though, considering how high the costs for some of their kits go. Some of them kits go for at least half if not more then some of the other vehicles as well. Hell, look at what you can get a Camaro for, and what some of them kits go for, for them.

But not...Yes it is expensive, but like getting a Ferrari, it's a status quo.

Sorry but we are not offering anything right now for the Cobalt. We would need a larger commitment in order to justify the expense of R&D, but it might be something we look at in the future.

Thank you,
