Ummm... well you can't remain faithful forever to a car that stopped getting produced lol.

I will wait a while to see how the LNF actually performs and see if it is worth trading in my ss/sc. I think the only real reason I would trade my car in is if (when) the body style changes and it looks sexier. If it doesn't... new car model to pursue.

I will keep the LSJ because honestly the tuning is easier than it will be on the LNF I believe direct injection will be something hard to handel.

True you can only love a car for so long, but some people are just want to be driving the newest thing on the market. I like to wait until a model has been out for at least 2 years, that way you won't get all of those first year problems and poor design choices.

well i dont have a balt....but if i had an LSJ theres no way in hell i would swap because after you take how much money you lost on switching over you could have built you LSJ and been better off than buying the new turbo balt....now that being said i may be getting a balt and the turbo balt isnt really in the running because i can get a supercharged balt for wayyyy less and then put money into a car with plenty of after market support.

LSJ FTMFW!!!!! Direct injection is too complicated IMO. 2200 psi fuel pressure and what not. I'll still with sequential fuel injection with 58 psi fuel pressure, tested and proven time and time again. Plus, superchargers > turbochargers. FLAME ON!!!!

I just don't see how they are going to put that much power (LNF) to the ground without further ruining ride quality.... I can't put all my STAGE 1 to the ground

I will say this, a stock LNF puts down more power than a stage II LSJ, I said it yesterday, and have watched them both dyno on the same dyno in the same day.

You really think people aren't gonna crack a tuner model car to sell their Diablo/HPTuners?

By the time the Cobalt SS/TC is out they will have all kinds of tuning, **** with a canned tune LNFs are gaining almost 20 whp!

FOUND IT

Run 1 is bone stock
Run 2 is with the BSR tune
Run 3 is BSR plus intercooler upgrade

i'm keeping it because i dont have enough money, if money was not a problem i'd just get a new ss/tc b/c i'm jealous of that torque curve, but my balt will be plenty quick when i'm done with it and will be getting better gas mileage on the highway

The swap is a big what if situation.

1- What if GM really does release Stage kits for the LNF?

2- Even though you would be trading cobalt for cobalt you will get hosed on trade.

3- The Sol/Sky should be way faster with 260hp, TM/TR suck, SS/TC will have more.

problem with LNF is you'll need the to unlock the torque management for any gain, adding an exhaust won't do anything otherwise, you'll feel the gain the first time its run then it'll learn and dumb down the amount of power it puts out to keep the torque the same as before. Thankfully LSJ's aren't like that, that i know of. Plus i heard after around 450 N*m (331 ft*lbs), the PCM goes out of range for power output and it can't be modified to put out any more than that.

Anyways, I'm not a fan of turbos as much as superchargers, massive whine FTW

A 30hp difference over one session?

Ha Ha Ha!

So a stock TC puts down LESS hp than a St. 2 SC (at the lower dyno point) and maybe 20hp more (at the higher figure).

Ha Ha Ha!

I got a $2500 rebate on my SC, so unless the same discount is offered on a TC ... the TC will never come close to my SC in $$/hp (even if you include the $750 I paid for my St. 2 + install).

Ha Ha Ha!

I'm thinking it should be easy to swap the R1320 onto the LNF and use port injection to adjust fuel a little here and there....

Seriously wtf is your problem

As a matter of fact, what the **** is every person with an LSJ's problem?

There is nothing wrong with liking what you have, but ignorantly(not rudely) talking about how LSJ>LNF for no real reason is stupid. Really stupid as a matter of fact. The turbo set up is way more efficient and less heat is produced with the same amount of HP. You know the the suspension and brakes are upgraded this time around too firedick?

I have watched multiple St II LSJs dyno and looked at the dynos of both the LNF and LSJ...stock for stock there is no comparison and St II is in the ball park of a stock LNF...just get over the fact that GM is puttin a stronger stock motor in the new SS than a lot of the tuners are putting down and made a ton of money off all of us.

Wait what's that?

Oh that is GM laughing at us you ******* tool.

The only GM car i would swap my cobalt for IF i decided to would be a GTO or a saturn sky redline.

Oh and everyone has a right on this forum to like what they do and should not be criticized for that
