lock question

lock question

i have 05 cobalt coupe.....can someone please verify for me whether or not the cobalt uses rods or cable systems to lock/unlock the doors...i dont feel like taking my panels off...does anyone know? im hoping there rods and not cables..

Rods to lock 17 19 20

thanks alot....so im getting a power lock kit for my car....since the lock uses rods it should be fine right?? since the actuator shouldnt even touch the cable part that goes to the handle...does that sound right?

yup sounds right....
you should contact the makers of the kit to really make sure.
