Low Traction?
Low Traction?
So whenever i'm in 2nd and i really get on it(14-16lbs boost guess cause i'm in ohio fail oh well) it almost always makes the tires break loose, and i get the annoying low traction message.. is this just due to moderate tires or does anyone else have this going on.. and what can i do to fix it outside of not getting on it in 2nd hah

There's so much misinfo in here my head hurts First, you only have to click it once to turn T/C off. Twice enables launch and keeps T/C off. If you hold it for 5 seconds it turns off T/C and ESC.
Secondly, you can NLS in any mode. GM stated that they did not want it to be mode specific incase someone didn't remember which mode they needed to be in, so you can NLS in any mode. I usually turn T/C off as a precaution because if I'm NLSing and the wheels slip, I don't want T/C kicking in and braking.
Third, at 14-16 psi it sounds like you're on the stock tune so if you're busting the tires free at that level you need better tires. If you ever get GMS1 or a 22-24 psi tune you will eat those tires up in no time.

hah, does the car have a different persona in a sense with T/C ESC off?
and yeah tell me about it.. Nexen N5000 tires, 130mph rated -_- as far as i know it is stock tune, i am pretty sure this was owned by some older person..... cant complain the tires are 4 months old
minus the one Nexen CP672 i just put on it after i got a slice in one of the N5000's it came with

I get ESC to kick in a couple times a month and my god can you feel it. It's nice that it keeps you from wrecking, but man does it feel weird. It's like the car gets punched in the chest when you are expecting it to corner hard.
Seeing as how this thread ended up on a NLS topic I have a question. How SLOW can you NLS without damage? I found too fast I'm binding and John said in my thread to slow it down a bit. If say I take like a full sec-1.5 sec to shift bouncing off the rev limiter, how and what is this going to hurt????
hah no wreck here...
and speaking of slowing down on NLS, its funny when i am just dicking around on the streets i almost always let off the clutch before i get it into third oops, but when i am booking getting on the highway i get it everytime, weird
