lowered tie rods
lowered tie rods
What's the part number For the tie rod your supposed to use when u lower the car ? I kno it was different for you cobalt guys then my stock gt. I think u already have them but if you have a gt your support to get new ones apparently yours are shorter
I'm a lowered on sportlines g5gt. 2007. n I have the front ttr or eibach sway bar. (I have front n rear away bars ones ttr ones eibach I forget which is which ) When I put the sway bar in I don't remember if I did the tie rods or not. I thought I read when u lowered n did sway bar u may have to replace. But I honestly can't remember if I replaced or if the stock ones worked. .......
As I'm typing this I brain farted I really meant END LINKS not tie rods. Derp. Im like wait a minute sway bar don't connect to tie rods.

What you are looking for is the steering knuckles, not the tie rod ends.
IIRC the SS's got a little shorter ones for a quicker steering ratio, nothing to do with lowering.
If you have lowered your car, you might want to check out a set of steering rack spacers to correct the steering geometry and reduce bump steer.

I'm not talking bout tie rods or knuckles. , I had a brain fart I wanted to kno about away bar end links. And I'm already looking to get the rack spacers n also new motor n tranny mounts and the bump steer with my wide rims is sooo bad
