Alright well I'm looking on my report sheet (the paper that tells me all the Equipment that I have in my car along with the MPG rating on it.) I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.


I bought the car brand new from the dealer and I want to know a few things about the Car...

PSI...aren't we at like 12 PSI on a stock SS S/C?
Will it say on this paper "Limited Slip Differential" (LSD)?
Will it say "G85 Package"?


What is LSD and the G85 Package in details if you could please?

LSD is the G85 option, you should see on the window sticker under the right hand column

Limited Slip Differential 795.00

 

Under the "Options & Pricing" Box it says...

EXT-Black
INT-Ebony with Ebony Inserts.



so my car is black with black inserts. but next that it says INC. so i assume it means Included??? all at $0.00

And Thats it.

Then you didn't get those options.

 

you don't have any of those options. i guess you could say you have a base ss/sc. lol

 

Mine (2006) had "Performance Package " in the options box. then it says
Includes Recaro Leather Seats, Limited Slip Diferential $1500
In the trunk on the left side under the mat is a build sticker that lists all the codes
for the equipment that is on your car. If you, have access to a set of service manuals
you can tell what all those codes mean,if not you can ask me and I'll look them up

Well what about my question about boost?
Are we really running 12 PSI Stock?

 

Stock runs something like 12-12.5 PSI... you may only see 10PSI for the first 1000 miles or so until the engine fully breaks in... that is normal... happens to some of us... dosen't happen to others.

If you see more than that on the stock pulley there is a problem that'll need to be checked out by the dealer.

 

alright. cause im about 8k miles lols. and i never really look at the boost gauge when im flooring it cause well i think its more important to look at the road because of UFO's and animals and crap. =)

Floor it in 3rd on the highway... then take a look... that's your best chance to actually see full boost on the gauge.

The only times I ever hit full boost anymore are when I'm racing... then I'm glued to the tach.

 

Thats why its in plain sight at the base of the windshield where everybody and their brother can see it...
