the cobalt i am buying has the g85 or so package that includes the LSD, has heated seats, and have coloured inserts but have been informed they are not recaros...

Is this true?? did they in fact remove the recaros? or is this a mix-match package?

I did some searching and supposedly the package from the factory includes the LSD, and the recaros....

what year is the cobalt? i believe some of the later 06-07 model cobalts had the LSD avalible but not the seats.

 

its a 2007 chevrolet cobalt ss/sc

claims to have a lsd package.. has sunroof.. pioneer sound system... no onstar

HAS heated seats, but is labeled SS rather then Recaro

 

either someone swapped them or they changed **** around...i bought my 06 with the g85 package and it came with the lsd and recaros.

 

the 07 didnt have a g85 i dont think. at least the g85 like we are used too. im pretty sure in the early 07 build numbers there were still some recaros but later in the build numbers only the lsd was an option. so its possible but your best bet to find out exactly what it has is open the trunk and look under the mat next to the sub. that will have the codes for everything in the car then come on here and check if one of them is the lsd, the g85 will show up as g85 on that list if it has it, but im not sure what the code is for just the lsd

 

well i remember reading somewhere that the recaros were discontinued in the later years of the cobalt ss/sc but also from what I read, its supposed to have recaros??

they are 100% leather and they are heated seats, thats for sure...

 

recaros are a mesh type cloth material, and say recaro on them. but if the paperwork says LSD it probably has it. if you buy it and it ends up not, they'll have to install it if you paid for it.

 

The 2007 model year only had about a month's worth of SS's that had Recaros with the G85 package... After that they substituted the heated leather seats with optional inserts.

The G85 LSD option with the Recaros was $1500, but after the Recaros were dropped the G85 LSD alone dropped to $795.

I think the mandated passenger side airbag sensor couldn't be fit into the Recaros.

 

rallyracer told me with the 2007 g85 only some early ones had the recaro seats. So the g85 package really is for the lsd

 

My 2007 with G85 only has the LSD and the seats are full heated leather.

 

In '07 if you ordered the G85 WITH heated seats the Recaros were deleted...

I have an 07, and I have the G85 package. It has the LSD. It does not have the recaros, but it does have the heated leather. You could get the early 07s with the recaros.

 

07 G85 cobalts only had LSD no recaros except for a select few
