On May 2nd my Black SS/SC with sunroof will be arriving at my dealer!! After ordering back in October the wait is almost over. I'm soooo excited especially after seeing the black SS pics that were posted on here recently.

2 more weeks!!!

Don't mean to burst your bubble. Hopefully its written in stone for May 2nd. My SS/SC was supposed to arrive today (April 18th) at my dealer. That is what Chevy had been telling my dealer. "In Transit". Long story short, its not. It was just "released" today for shipment to my dealer. Meaning, not sure how long before they load it on the train, rail it to Las Vegas, off load to a truck, and drive to the dealer. BUT, I'm excited that its finally at that point. The past 3 weeks we have been told "In Transit" when it really wasn't. Maybe we will be getting ours at the same time.

 

Well I actually had been calling someone at the GM offices for updates on my order every once in a while because I was supposed to have it a long time ago too, and she also said it would be at my dealer 14 days from the time it was built, and it was built last week. I also think they hold a lot of the SS's on the lot until they have enough to send out, and I was lucky enough to catch the end of the batch. I bet you our cars are getting shipped out together and we should have them around the same time

 

Right on! I Hope so! I'm sooooooooooooo excited! Saw one at NHRA this weekend. It was a race version. A girl named Erica from Pasadena, California. The body will be the same as mine, just not the engine and inside. But, it was just sooooooooo cool!!!!!

I didn't think you could get different color inserts with different color cars? My rep tried the red inserts w/my blue car. That's what I really wanted, but the system wouldn't allow her to order it that way.

 

Where did you have yours ordered from B-spot? I have one on order from shaganappi, they told me I was looking at late May

 

at least you got that.. i got "in may" but my rep told me may 24thish

 

While I cannot check an Order from Canada (different system) I can look your order up and tell you where it is at if want. Just email or send me a PM with your order # and I will look it up. I can look it up until 8pm central time.

 

You can't get the red inserts with a blue car because those colours clash. They only let you get colours that will actually look good lol.

Black can get any colour.

Red w/red

yellow w/yellow

Blue w/blue

Orange- maybe both?

Silver? both?

I am getting my car from GSL.

 

Actually, the Z06 in the member's gallery is Electron Blue w/red inserts! Looks awesome! That was the color combo that I tried to get.

 

Just got a call back from GM, ad my car left lordstown yesterday!!

 

GUESS WHAT! SO DID MINE! It left Ohio yesterday!!!!!!!! It will be switching trains in Indiana today or tomorrow. It should arrive by this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I think they must be riding the same train together

GM Cust. Service is taking a while getting back to me "due to the fact that they are backlogged with requests".

 

My car will be detailed BEFORE it goes in the Gallery! Hope to see yours there too. I think they will start rolling in the masses!
