For those with SS Supercharged Cobalts, how many miles were on the car when you picked it up for delivery? I think someone went around the factory in mine. I was told it'll have 17 miles on it!
Also, maybe someone on the forum that works in Lordstown can shine some light on the inspection process from the factory.

I had about the same. I had about 25 on it, my dealer took it for a ride when it got off the truck.
I got a call from my dad and he tells me "We are taking your car to lunch, it looks great and the stereo is awesome"
I replied "Stop torturing me!"
But when I got to the dealership there was a sign on the car saying do not drive. Anyhow they drive every new car that comes off the back the truck. It's a pre delivery inspection. So maybe they took yours on a little bit longer of a ride.
In the general scheme of things, I wouldn't stress about it too much. They are just testing the car to make sure it's ok for you when you pick it up.

Every new car off the line is driven through a VERY short test track, a select few (10 random or so) are driven for longer trips to get a more thourough audit of the vehicle. If you get a car with higher miles this is probably the case.
Mine had 97 miles on it
The dealer said that people had been coming in every day to look at it and test drive since it arrived.
I don't know about that...but I did notice the tell-tale signs that a decal used to be on the top of the windshield (I'm in the decal business, even if a decal is on for only a few minutes u can still spot a very slight "haze" were it once was when the light hits it right, unless they cleaned very well afterwards). Wasn't there some sort of show up in Pennsylvania or something that had a bunch of SS/SC's lined up with an "American Revolution" sticker on the windshield? Mine was built in February, so it could have been one of those cars before they sent it down here. At least that's my theory...

This is one thing I'm worried about. It's not like they are going to take it easy on your brand new SS if they haven't driven one before. They are going to want to drive fast...that's a given. Mine had better not have more than 25 miles on it or i'll be pissed.
When my SRT came off the truck it had 2 miles on it. I worked at the dealer that it came to, so I got in it, had it driven to get in for Pre Delivery Inspection, went on the 3 mile road test, re checked the alignment to make a slight adjustment. Then it went on the showroom for 3 weeks. No one ever drove it, but my boss told me that if I wanted it, it had to be on the showroom for 3 weeks until they got in another one. I guarded that car with my life (so to speak) I'd do a demo on it, and then when they asked if they could drive it, I said "NO that's MY car, it's already sold"
"Why is it here and you're not driving it?"
"I had to agree to keep it on display until we got another one"
"oohhh"
So the ONLY people to ever drive the car were the factory workers, the transport people, my PDI mechanic and ME. So I took delivery of the car with 5 miles on it, 3 of which I were in for, so I could literally say the car had 2 miles on it when I got it.

Wouldn't that be considered used?
"legally" a car can still be considered new with as much as 3,000 miles on it. Provided it hasn't had a title issued from the MSO. That's how a lot of dealers can offer "New" cars for a lot less than some other dealers because they're selling these demos with 2,000-3,000 miles on them as "new" when they're not really new. I don't think there's any brand that doesn't do it.

I am around 2700

66% oil life remaining since last night when I checked. The oil still looks clean and light on the dipstick when I check it. On target for an 8100 mile oil change interval.
