Mods to Prevent Major Problems

What can I do to keep my car from wearing down too quickly if I only drive aggressively every once in a while? I don't go street racing, or take my Cobalt to the strip or anything, but I do abuse it a little.

If I add things to my car which raise its durability to a 'racing' level, can I prevent problems than if I don't, and drive the same way?

Things like, motor/transmission mounts, torque damper, suspension upgrades, better clutch, etc.

Good to know it can handle that kind of power and abuse.

Now I have to decided between a stage kit or solid motor mounts.......hmmmm

Go with the ottp rotated mounts, it will prevent wheel hop which could be a deal breaker for your axels or tranny. Also might want to look into a h/e if you are going stage 2 or higher so you keep them temps down reliably. not to say meth wouldn't also be a bad option, but you would have to geta custom tune then.

I have stage 1 mounts right now with little or no wheel hop at all.

Also, I asked how far you are from rt 1 becuase I take rt 1 to go to rutgers football games/ parties. And if you would be interested in coming over to trenton for a local meet with the philly guys

Yeah, that would be cool. I've never been to anything like that that before. Is it a big meet?

I tried to get to the ECC website, from your sig, but it doesn't look like the website is working.
