Moonroof Rattle

I'm not sure if anyone has had this problem, but i've noticed that when I have my moonroof pulled all the way back (exposing the sunroof) I hear a rattle every time I go over the slightest bump in the road. Its a very noticable sound and the only real way to stop it is to pull the moonroof forward a few inches....for some reason when it's all the way back it just doesn't seem stable unless it's pushed forward a bit...

Check out the Sunroof Visor thread. We know exactly what it is. The newer SS 's have a peice of sticky thin foam on the top front of the shade to prevent this rattle. However, it in turn prevents the shade from opening and closing because they put it on like ****. the rattle you hear is caused from the very top front of the sunroof tapping the glass on the back part of the sunroof.

I have the same problem with mine. It gets worse when the car is parked out in the sunlight for a few hours. It goes back about half way ok then it hangs up both ways at that point. And the black foam square in the front of the shade drags on the front of the glass.
