Moral Support

Guys, last night I was up thinking and it hit me, my 08 2.4l sedan is nothing but a glorified base model. I feel like I don't belong here nor do I deserve to say I drive a Cobalt SS. Somebody help me shake this feeling. I had dreams of making my cobalt a 300+ hp god machine sleeper but I have lost all motivation now. I don't feel special anymore guys.

I call it the SS as in sport sedan so I make myself feel a tiny bit better. You know what? That little joke at the end was the spark I needed. Why bitch? I can make my car a monster and nobody can say a word about it.

yeah it is a glorified base model. sell it and get a real ss is the only solution. either that or do a nasty turbo kit, seat and full interior and body kit swap and wheels and brakes and suspension then ur good to go

Just turbo it like you were going to. And upgrade your rods and pistons and you're good for 300whp

Why would you care what the SS/SC & SS/TC people say about your car, mine is a 2.4 NA SS and I don't care what anyone thinks about it. I bought it for the low price and it's cheap on gas

The SS NA or Sport gets upgraded suspension, brakes, engine, wheels and tires compared to a base Cobalt. The SS SC and SS TC get the same treatment, just better components under each category. If you can't afford an LSJ or LNF, start upgrading your car slowly and eventually you'll make it as capable or even more. Look at the bright side, you start with more displacement!

well cheer up man. But dont waste your time with a lsj,and just go to a lnf, there alot faster, and easier to make faster. I have a lsj, and know im saving money for a turbo swap.
