I might make my car into the 08-10 Cobalt Turbo Sedan copy. I just need to find a wrecked LNF for the engine and turbo and that ****.

I don't know why I didn't think of that earlier. It will be cheaper and end up looking better. *facepalm*

There's nothing wrong with the SS/NA, It's a nice looking car has that kick there when you need it and is cheap on gas.

I know, I just want a little more kick to mine to make it less, for lack of better words, plain.

lol; lsj/lnf guys talking ****

Im sorry if they get all butthurt; GM shoulda never put the SS tags on a truck, SUV, or a POS econobox fwd 4cyl
In my personal opinion; LSJs and LNFs have the same right to sport a SS badge as LE5s

Throw your turbo on you LE5, and have fun. **** 'em if they can't take a joke

That was the original plan, until I realized I could probably go with this way for cheaper.

Your best to leave it as is, once you start to go down the road to supercharge or turbo it you start to run into dishing out money for it and the problems that always pop up.

No not always. If its a legit build and you have someone install and tune it that knows what they are doing, then there shouldn't be a problem. And if you don't push the car beyond what it can handle.

What gets me is people go out and buy the SS/NA when they know there's the supercharged or turbocharged version then want to spend a **** load of money to boost their NA, So why not just buy the version that came from the factory boosted in the first place.

I bought mine with a very indepth knowledge of the cobalt platform.
I got a fantastic deal on it; 5K under list on it, they filled tank, put brakes on it all the way around, and 4 new tires.

I originally was going to turbo it and have my buddies shop do it, then decided to SC when I got a great deal on everything. I fully SC'ed my turd for 1200(everything including gunmetal 18s and tune).

Then got great deal on TVS.

The LE5 is as strong as LSJ, VVT is tunable, trans is tougher than LSJ/LNF, and it doesn't have the fueling issues of LNF.(this is all just off the top of my head)

Because some people want to build their cars. Customize the kit the way they want.

Fueling issues of the LNF? ZZP has a solution to that one, no different than having to swap injectors and adjust the tune correctly

last i checked the SS/SC and SS/TC were glorified base models as well. for the most part every car out there will qualify as a glorified base model of something. Just be happy you arent driving a 2001 ford tar.. opps i mead jaguar s-type

The only real SS is one that puts power to the rear wheels. So unless you sell your cobalt and get one, you're SOL
