Since July, Ive had the car in for the clutch slipping, which of course the day I can bring it in is a rainy one so I cant get it to slip for them. After I put the Ingalls on it has disappeared erxcept now I think the Ingalls is damaged.

But now after reading this thread, I realize there are a lot of flashes that i need due to the bucking syndrome and weird idle at times.

2.0

sporadic idle issue--solved with reflash*
sunroof switch trim piece--falls down while driving
muffler--glass pack was blowing out for a while, seems to have stopped
cruise control--didn't work from January to March then just started working again one day
paint--rub marks on doors and door jambs
passenger side brake light--blew out after only 7 months (wtf) taillight works fine
stock head unit--one time it took 5 minutes after the car was started for the time to display

*indicates a problem the dealer cared about enough to address

Ok here's the analysis of the results so far:

2.0 out of 81 votes 32% (26) problem and 68% (55) no problem

2.2 out of 30 votes 27% (8) problem and 73% (22) no problem

2.4 out of 22 votes 14% (3) problem and 86% (19) no problem

It looks like the 2.4 is in the lead so far as least problems, followed by the 2.2 and the 2.0 trailing (probably because the 2.0 is the most frequently modded/abused of the group).

3 days after I bought my car the sunroof broke and got stuck in the open position so it sat at the dealer for 2 weeks. And I used to have a problem with the transmission not going into gear but that has seemed to go away for now... *knock on wood*

I had no problems until about 2 months before it got totaled. It would just go into limp mode then die. Then 2 wks before the wreck I started driving it again and it was fine. Then yeah totaled it.

Holy old thread batman!

Anyway, have had my '07 SS S/C for about 6k miles, stage 2 went on at 4500, no problems yet (we'll see what happens by 25k). Seems they fixed most of the problems in previous model years with the '07s. My sunroof bezel isn't going anywhere

I have a 2.0 SS

The only problem I have had on it was the body control module coming out of contact with the rest of the car. I had it in twice and haven't had a problem since...Knock on wood

2.0L sc

1st Week Break Problems (service writier says its normal) F'IN BS
3rd Week Notice My Air deflection (under rad) was not installed, i did nick a curb pulling up to it, but in order for it to come off i would have had to drive a full 1' up that curb
4th Week Crank Sensor Goes (replaced under warrenty)
-They had to replace my Steering wheel as the Leather was all F'd up
-They had to put a new Radio it, Original One Blew (they dont know why)
-paint peeling on all silver trim (all replaced)
3month Breaks Again (same service writer says it could be normal and i have 30000km break warrenty)
6month Breaks Again (service writer says they will turn the rotors)
(turning the rotors is not a fix its only a band aid)
8month and 1 year same break problem (well lets turn them again)

1 year i get stage II installed and problem starts with idle, throttle response, and the CEL going on and off and on and off every other day.

1year 1month i bring car in cause CEL and it turns off on the way there, dealer says they wont warrenty any work as CEL is not on (CEL are stored if i am correct) LOSERS

1year 5months CEL on bring to dealer, CEL goes of, i tell them hold on a sec ill BRB, i F'in make the CEL go on... THEY reflash ECU with updated program
2year -car turns off when i hit a bump hard enough, CEL comes on, but goes off again
-car sounds like a 2stoke lawn mower and CEL comes on , stays on for 2horus, then goes out again
-Tensioner raplaced twice
just the other day i didnt put my winter tires on in time, had to go out real fast, on way home smaked a curb in my passanger rear wheel, bent complete rear axle (had to replace bearing, rear axle, and 18"rim) 4000$+repair

car is working fine, i have a ripped CV boot which i have to bring in (mabye or mabye not cover) but i will pay if they say no (smells like buring grease as a result)

and i need an alignment.......

there is alot more.... but i cant remember it all....
aftger lease is up, Im getting a full sized 2008 or 2009 GMC Sierra

2.4L, the only problem I've had is a water leak under the rear drivers side seat. They missed a 3 inch section at the factory...

My rotors were turned twice, then replaced and have since been turned again. They are starting to pulsate yet again...
