It blew up around 4200 RPMs

driving home from alpine's shop, the CEL came on and with a few minutes BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, with the cruse on as well.

well there goes one 2.2 down. my money is on that supercharged one without fuel management to blow up next lol

shitty that happend man gl on the repairs

did they just finish installing the kit? tuning it?

did you say that you had the cruise on and was running 4200 RPM?? sounds to me like things were FUBARed before the engine blew.

there were something that happened during the tuning of it, like major boost spike and some random A/F ratios. but there was no apparent damage to the head

when i had my 88 vw the engine was kinda like that everywhere there was a seam or something bolted to it it would puff liquid and smoke out of it so it was blown as well

i had to buy a new motor(12.000 miles) , motor plus install was 750 dollars. She made it home perfectly and 2 days later she wont hold an idle to save her life, fuel issue now
