dude, you didn't apply the duct tape around the engine as stated in the directions?

I can see your shaft...your balance shafts that is. That really sucks. Good luck with the rebuild.

I am surprised Adam hasn't chimed in.

Wow, better off getting a bike if you wanna go fast, but that is my opinion.

That is beat man, I hope everything works out for you

Nice job man! GM did the same thing with their 2.2L test motor. At 287 crank hp all 4 rods failed simultaniously. That block is beyond salvage, Pauls right, anyone lookin for a boat ancor?

You can get some decent money for that motor if you find someone whoe buys scrap aluminum. See what happens when you re-engineer the car. I agree, the blown 2.2 will surely go soon.

so is the new engine installed with the turbo? hopefully they found the problem before just throwing another engine in with the same setup etc.

I can't believe they made you pay to put another motor back in when it sounds like there tuning grenaded it. I could under stand if they said, you buy the engine and we will install it. That really sucks about your luck.

the car ran fine for about 1000 miles on the new motor but now she wont hold idle and is dumping fuel during cranking through the 5th injector

I would like to know this too, you must have been running way past what you should have been.
