Doing perhaps 60% highway, 40% city, I'm getting around 26-27mpg. Or roughly 300 miles out of an 11 or 11.5 gallon fill-up. That real world enough for you?

Disclaimer: your mileage may vary according to your driving habits, daily commute, and the quality of gas you put in the tank.

In town lots of stopping & going I get 25-26. On the interstate a/c on rolling with cruise control set at 73 I get 32.7. My husband drove the car this week to Houston, a 6 hour drive no a/c, windows down on the interstate rolling at 85 he got 31.6. I have an 06 ss/sc.

I dont suppose theres any way to change the read out on the DIC?
My mileage reads Litres/100km, and its confusing. lol
Generally, Im using about 9L per 100km. My math is completely rusted over, so I couldnt tell yah what kind of MPG that works out to.
On a full tank of gas, I get about 425km. I expect that to improve a bit, as Im still in love with my car, and on the gas pretty often. lol

Average 50/50 highway/city is about 26-28mpg. 60/40 highway/city is about 28-30. I get over 350 miles on almost every tank.

I don't trust the computer thingy so when I fill up next I will do it the old fashion way. Probably going to be filling up on Wednesday. Just guessing though from the amount of miles I have driven and the amount of fuel left in the tank I think I am getting 25ish and that's all in town so far.

It absolutely does have a low fuel indicator. When you reach about 1.5 gallons left, the Drivers Information Center switches to saying "Low Fuel Level" or some such thing as the default displayed message.

Speaking of low fuel, yesterday my buddy and I went out test driving cars for kicks. I haven't got to pick up mine from the dealer yet so we went to a different Chevy dealer so he could test drive one. We got a black 06 supercharged without G85 and looked like it had about a quarter tank of gas in it when we left. When we were out we got our butts handed to us by some sweet Porsche Carrera S and shortly after raped a Civic and were feeling better and low fuel light came on. We only put 10 miles on the car so maybe the last bit of the fuel meter is innacurrate? Either way he was impressed with the car, and wants to get rid of his '03 Blazer Extreme for one now.
