My final decision ...

Well, after much thinking, and debating I have decided to forgo the Cobalt SS/SC. It has turned out that the SS/SC is too small for me after all, and this I greatly lament. I have decided to purchase a Mazdaspeed 3 next year, as I'm kind of in love with it, and guess what, I FIT! I talked to the Mazda dealer dooder, and he said that in response to the positive feedback the Speed3 got, Mazda is going to be importing many more next year. So, I just wanted to say thanks for all the great feedback I got on questions I asked about the Cobalt, and I'm going to stay with CSS.net, cause I've grown attached to all of you. Thanks for helping guys, and know that I would've bought the Cobalt, except due to space reasons, I cannot.

Good Decision you know whats most important to you and if room is what you want the SS/SC is not your car. I bought mine and don't regret it but for many reasons decided to buy a daily driver that gave me more flexability . Now i won't get bored of the SS/SC and i don't have to worry about it being scratched or dented Daily its to sexy of a car to not keep Pretty.

Size is definately one thing the SS/SC gets knocked for... I've seen a few reviews to that nature. Why Chevy didn't make a SS/SC sedan I'll never know... would have been better competition for the other "go fast" sedans like the Evo, WRX, SRT-4, Speed3, and Civic Si.

Ah well...

See, my problem is that I'm 6'8" soo... when your that big of a ***** it's a little hard to find vehicles that work, and I don't want a truck at all. So Speed3 hot hatch *******' wagon here I come. I still always be an SS/SC driver at heart, even if I never drove one. And just think, no more complaints for turbos!

Yeah, I understand the size thing. I'm 6'3" 230lbs and this is about the smallest car I think I would ever buy...it was almost too small when I test drove it, but I talked myself into it.

Oh that just sucks! But I'm pretty sure they fix it by the next model year, and if not, time to carry around a loaded firearm. Oh, and I'll be sure to post pics!

Wow not enough room! I am not that tall(5'11") and if I push the seat all the way back I can't even touch the pedals. All my tall friends couldn't believe how much rooms this car had in the front. The back seat is another story, but no one over sets back there. I have a friend that is 6'10" 370 pounds and he took a 6 hour road trip in an SS/SC and said he was really happy with the car. The mazdaspeed 6 must be like a limo. Good luck on what ever you choose though.
