i just upgraded my college car an old 1991 mazda mx6 250k. i picked up a 05' cobalt LS. My mazda still runs great but the ac gave out and its been HOTT in the midwest.

pro's
-i really like driving the cobolt!!!
-7.1 sound is amazing for stock systems (no sub box cluttering trunk) and i didnt have to run wires all over the place in ghetto fashion.
-its a very quite ride. my wife n i can whisper to each other at 75mph.
-the seats are very nice blend of short term and long term comfort.
- it drives tight like my mazda's but firm like my moms buick. to me its the best of both worlds.
- for 16k b4 tax with 39 miles on it (all mine from test drive). i got 15" rims, 7.1 pioneer, sunroof, sport package, ie leather wheel-shifter-fog lamps-white panel dials- you know just the normal other ls stuff.
-great mileage im getting about 30mpg in stop and go highway driving.

cons
-no mp3 for stereo for some reason
-shifts great and at right time (2.5-2.7) but it always tries to shift from 2nd-4th only giving 3rd a few seconds. i have to push the pedal down halfway through acceleration. or else im going 45mph in 4th 1.6, needless to say not much acceleration at that point.
-minor hiss on stero speaker at bottom 2 volume notches.
-big trunck small opening cant move mid sized stuff in it at all.
