The track lock broke as it did on my girlfriends 06 LT a couple years ago from the sounds of it. I was lucky it was covered under her warranty.

I was able to take a screw driver & slide the lock on the track forward about 1 inch & then it would shut but every time you open it you will have to do this.

By memory there is a little tab that locks (it slides with the window under normal opperation)the suroof when it shuts and mine broke so when it's trying to shut it actually holds the one side up and wont let it shut, so look at the side that is binding and look for this tab and slide it about one inch forward then try shutting the sunroof.

It suck because to fix it you have to replace the whole track and I think there about $200 aren't they but I could be way off

Hmm, mine clicks and clacks all the time, but it still opens and closes.

(knock on wood)

Did you open it back up and see if it's binding on anything? Sometimes **** gets stuck in there, I had a bunch of rocks and road debris inside of mine before.

when i shut it and look in the inside of the sunroof. the side that isnt working right the inside isnt lined up like the working side.

well i knew where ur talking about. the piece that slides for the lil screw to go in. well i pushed it forward and it moved a lil. well i pushed a lil hard and it snapped part of the piece. so i was hanging now but it does go in flush to the roof now. lol oops. well i just wont be using my sunroof anymore now. i just didnt want to shell out 200 some dollars. so u think since i snapped that piece it will cost me more to fix it? well anyways im happy it is flush now. im not worried. thinking if i should fix it before i trade it in or not? thanks fellas for all the advice and info definately appreciate it.

theres a lock you have to hit where the arm goes up and down in the track as said before hit that and it will stay down all the way as long as you dont open it again.
