My wheel almost fell off!!! Wtf!!!
ya, what was I gonna do, leave it on the side of the road, grab the studs from autozone, then go jack it up and fix it there lol. It had to be towed and I need a car to drive so it had to be fixed right then right there
oh i know, I soon as I saw what happened I knew how lucky I was that it stayed on.

Replacing lug studs are not something you do on the side of a highway... Its something that you have to do at home where you don't have cars flying at 55/65/70MPH flying by you.
Anyways, GM studs are poorly made... I think they're aluminum. I've had to replace one before on the left front because it snapped whenever I was taking off my winter steel to put my MSW's on. It is just another example of where GM cut corners on parts they shouldn't cut corners on.

Side of the road... highway... both equally bad anyways.

its those rings between the rim and the rotor.. i snapped 2 of my studs in the front and 2 in the back and guess what all the broken ones had in common? they didnt have the washers!!! i curse the hell outta who installed my rims turns out the guy was fired already
what washers are you talking about? i've never seen washers put on rims before as the rim is supposed to sit flush with the rotor. if your refering to the hub rings that allow you to properly mount aftermarket rims to your vehicle then yes whoever installed the rims is an idiot
so i have aftermarket rims and and hub centric rings installed and the car vibrates sometimes when i brake should i be worried about this or what? and what poundage should i torque my rims down to
100ft/lbs and what speeds does your car vibrate at. if its a consistent speed that it does it at, chances are your rotors need to be turned. changing your wheels will affect your rotational mass and put differen't stress' on your brake system.
Always 100 lbs on these cars. Also, some vibration can be caused by improperly balanced wheels. If you didn't have the issue before you installed your current wheels, I would get the front wheels rebalanced. Even a slight imbalance can cause a lot of "stutter" on the car.
