n00b question
i have an 07 Ls with full bolt-ons, minus 2.4 TB, ive done them all in my driveway but my question is what is the purpose and result of a pulley swap? if applicable to my set up? thanx kyle

pulley swaps are usually for supercharged applications. removing the pulley off the supercharger and replacing it with a smaller diameter one will increase boost pressure by spinning the supercharger more than the larger pulley was

o ok. i tried searching but there wasnt too much about it cus ive read about N/A 2.2s doing pulley swaps and idk to much about that kind of thing so just thought id ask haha thanx though man

I think they are swapping the stock pulleys for aftermarket underdrive pulleys. The alternator and crank pulleys that is what is meant by swapping pulleys on a N/A car
