Talking Need Estimates!!!!

Ok how much will or should a shop charge me to paint my Stock SS rims black?? Will they charge extra since its chrome plated.

it's an easy DIY project. don't pay a shop for what you can easily do on a weekend with a few beers and 20 bucks of paint.

don't rush, plain and simple. The beer tends to keep you occupied in between coats drying. Just sand the surface, prime it, dry, wetsand w/1000 grit, repeat two more times, and then follow the same process for painting. Don't skip on the wetsand. That's it! Three coats of clear and you have a new look that costs less than a powdercoat job for nearly the same appearance.

Or, do all the sanding as mentioned, plasti-dip them, use the gloss coat (for plasti-dip) that is being released this month, and go on with your bad self.

Agreed- that's my plan. Plasti dip is launching a new product to give the black wheels a glossy look as opposed to just flat black at some point this month i believe.

Ur looking at around 50-85$$ a tire . I would try to do them your self and when your ready get the powder coated
